Procrastination is a major roadblock to our success; it prevents us from working to our full potential, and it has become habitual for us to begin work right before the deadline.

Pomodoro is a well-known time-management method for dealing with procrastination and developing the habit of getting things finished on time.

Last day, I applied Pomodoro to memorize some part of the Holy Quran. The experience was quite good. I set an alarm on 25 minutes. I started recitation. I did not require much extra time. Actually, I Completed the whole task approximately on time i.e., 25 minutes and 3 minutes extra with it.

During the process, I experienced few difficulties like

(1) Delay in starting task.

(2) After starting, Plan again and again about different ways to complete it which was waste of time.

(3) Unintentional thoughts were coming in my mind and disturbing my focus.

(4) Felt laziness when I got near task completion.

I learned that I can complete the same task in less time and stress with some practice. Therefore, I have planned to apply Pomodoro technique on two or three tasks daily. And I hope This exercise will increase my productivity.

This is all about my first conscious experience with Pomodoro.
